BACKSTORY: Shaak-Ti's Father (Fujiwara Masato)

History: Fujiwara is a direct descendant of the original monks who were chosen by Amenotokatachi to protect the shrines of his children Izanami & Izanagi and keep the locations of their blades secret. A follower of Amaterasu he is the head paladin of her sanctuary, Ise-Jingue on the island of Honshu, and protector of her sacred texts. As a shadow warrior, he is well versed in the techniques of the ninja as well as several other oriental based martial arts styles. As far as humans go, he is extremely disciplined yet can sometimes be all too passionate about his duty; therefore, he does not bode well to outsiders. Primarily a loner in his personal life he has plenty of time to perfect his lessons, techniques, and study the tests within his charge.

Other Character Interactions: Meets and falls in love with a high elf named Nienna Elensar, from the Indis clan. Their union, being unaccepted by his order and her race, must be kept secret. They part for sometime to tie up their own personal missions, with plans to meet up later and be together regardless of what others think. During their separation, Bahamut and Tiamut grant each of them with the sacred blades of Izanagi & Izanami. (In typical form, the two deities are doing their best to annoy each other and decide to find mortals capable of wielding the katanas to fight each other as a form of entertainment. Not realizing, of course, that Amenotokatachi had imbued their spirits of his children into the blades, they did not account for the effect the possession would have on the mortals they chose.)

Keeping in touch with each other through carriers (messages) their love for each other grows deeper and stronger. Slowly the spirits of the deity of each sword begin to integrate themselves into Fujiwara and Nienna. When they are finally able to come together, they produce a child. A half-elf they named Elita Elensar-Michiyo. She is born with the best of both her of parents qualities and unbeknownst to her parents, she is the “chosen one.” (“The Chosen One”- The one born to eventually wield both katanas and become the protector of all of Kami’s children.) Unfortunately, by the time Elita is born, Fujiwara & Nienna have been almost completely consumed by the spirits of Izanagi & Izanami and “their story begins to play out in Fujiwara & Nienna’s lives until they become warring with each other. They eventually battle each other to the death and Fujiwara is killed. Upon his death, the spirits of Izanagi & Izanami return back into the katanas and Nienna realizes what she has done. Devastated she returns his body to the Shadow of Kamisama whom takes possession of the katanas and returns them to their hidden places. Nienna then returns to her clan with Elita. In true High-Elf fashion, her clan rejects Elita and Nienna becomes so distraught at her life that she gives Elita to the Gray Elves of the Ancalímon and secludes herself in a cavern to perform a ritual sacrifice so that she may rejoin her beloved Fujiwara. Within a few days one of the Gray Elf Elders finds Nienna’s body and returns it to her clan. Upon arriving back to his own clan he makes the decision to shield Elita from her tragic & mysterious family history and raise her as Shaak-Ti Fyare of the Ancalímon.


Their Story (his point of view): During a routine scouting, mission Fujiwara spotted something moving through the woods on the outskirts of his clan’s territory. Typically quick to “take care of” outsiders, Fujiwara rushed to get a closer vantage point when he noticed that this was not a typical outsider; it appeared to be an elf… and a female! Why would an elf be traveling through the Mongol Mountains?!
